Nathalie Princess von Hohenzollern was born in 1970 as daughter of a German father and a Bolivian mother in Hamburg. After finishing her A-levels in Switzerland she studied in Paris and New York Political Science and Languages.
After that she was living in Los Angeles as an actress, where she encountered her love for jewellery and started first courses in jewellery design.
In 1998 she resettled to Bolivia. There she worked for Yolana Banzer, the former first lady, and founded a self-supporting living- and educational project for orphans.
After her marriage in 2001 with Prince Albrecht, Princess Nathalie continued her studies at Idar-Oberstein, the German gemmological institute. After that she extended her education in Freiburg at the goldsmith atelier of Felix Stüssi.
In June 2007 she opened her Atelier in Sigmaringen, where she crafted premium unique items, custom build products and collections with natural colored stones, diamonds and exquisite pearls: „The jewellery reflects my heart, my creativity and my untamed free creativeness“
Her jewellery collections arise from the cultural artifact of the Bolivian Incas combined with a touch of ease and coolness from her time in Los Angeles. The Incas worshipped especially sun, moon and mother earth. This philosophy of life and impression of colors from old Inca sites are the foundation of many of her models.
She sold her jewellery in many famous stores, such as Takashima, KDW, Oberpollinger, APROPOS the Concept Store and Juwelier Rene’ Kern.
In 2012 Nathalie moved to Vienna where she presented her new collection for the first time and after a three year break stars new with Boulesse.
Nathalie Prinzessin von Hohenzollern is also known for her brand name Jewelbar.
