Tea pot with a hunting motif from the Augarten Porcelain Manufactory for your next hunting party. Though the decor not only wonderfully adorns a hunting table, but adapts to a variety of different occasions.
Hunting has a long tradition at Augarten: The park used to be part of an important hunting ground - the „Riverine garden“ - which used to lie among Danube banks that were uninhabited until the 16th century. The hunting series No. 5824 dates back to about 1929 and shows a head of games with fir branches.
The ornate baroque era is reflected perfectly in the shape “Mozart”. Baroque, which covers the 17th and 18th centuries, finds its cultural expression in opulent feasts and tables, theater and music. A love of sumptuous living is reflected in fine paintings, radiant buildings and not least in the truly brilliant works of world-famous musician Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The design of this shape is as lively as the music of the time. Patterns with rich, lavish bouquets of flowers appear at their very best on dinner services in this shape.
